Volunteers Wanted!

Burlington Youth Wrestling is an all-volunteer organization. We are a small scale organization, much more modest than most other sporting programs in town. To keep the program viable, we organize a few fund raising events each season. The largest of these during the 2010/2011 season will be a Youth Wrestling Tournament that will be held in the High School Gym on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011. This has historically been a great event. We did one last year and it was a huge success and this year again, we are back in business! As you might imagine, managing the wrestlers, mats, their families, the brackets, tables, concessions, admissions and apparel sales is no small task.

There is no way we could run this tournament without the enthusiastic support we get from our participant families. We encourage all our wrestling families to help out how ever they can with this vital fund raising event. A tournament specific meeting and further details will be provided as the January tournament nears.

We welcome your active participation in all other aspects of the BYW organization. There will be many opportunities to help out and get involved during the course of the season. We appreciate your input and look forward to your involvement in making this a better program for everyone’s kids!
