Saturday, March 12th- New England Youth Championships at Lowell H.S.@ 50 Father Morrissette BLVD, Lowell, MA. This is for qualifiers from the MYWA States only- We have 2 children attending (Hardmon & Moroney). It’s a $5 spectator fee to go see and support your teammates! Saturday March 12th- Massabesic MS Tourney 6th-8th Grade - For grades 6-8 only. Weigh-ins 7-8, wrestling will start @ 9. $10 if you sign up before 3/10/11, $15 after. Sunday March 13th- Rebel Classic for K-8th at Pinkerton Academy, 5 Pinkerton Street in Derry, NH. Pre-registration was required. We have 18 kids attending, BYW coaches are attending. Weigh in 7:30-8:30 AM, wrestling starts @ 9:30 AM. 8-man brackets will be made the day of the event. Head gear is required.

Sunday March 13th- STCC Tourn Series for all ages at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield MA. If your not attending The Rebel Classic, this is a good option for you. No pre-registration. As always, head gear is strongly encouraged. This is the first in a series of 7 planned tournaments. @1 Armory Sq. Springfield, MA -Scibelli Hall-Gym, Bld 2. Scales open at 7:30 - 8:30 for the youth group, wrestling starts at 9AM w/Madison weights/ $20

Saturday, 03-19-11: MAWA CT Prelim Qualifier Day 1 for birth years 1993-1996 at the Windham High School 355 High St, Wilimantic, CT. This is a Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association sponsored event, weigh in times 6:30 -8:30 AM, must weigh in wearing singlet. Bring proof of age - classes are by birth year, $20.00 per child if registered online before 3-16-11 & walk in registration fee is $25.00. Adults pay $8. Sunday, March 20th - K-4 All NE States 2011 (aka Costal Classic) Located at Salem HS, 77 Willson St, Salem, MA 01970 K-2 registration is limited to 300 -online registration only. For Grades 3-4, online registration only as well but no limit. $20 Fee, registration run by KAP Wrestling, link posted on MYWA and Masswrestling.com. Registration open now and ends March 17th. BYW coaches are attending so please let us know if attending after you’ve paid and registered.

Sunday, March 20th -So. NE Classic "A Test for the Best" Narragansett HS @ 245 South Pier Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882 Prepare for the MAWA(NH), Gene Mills(NY), and Marshwood’s. Trophy’s for first place, medals for 2, 3, 4 place finishers. Bantam & Intermediate wrestlers weigh in 7:30 - 8:30. Bantams and Intermediate wrestle at 9am. Bantams 4 man round robin. All other weigh-ins for tournament 10:30AM to 11:30AM. Wrestling starts at Noon. All 5 or 6 man round robin where possible. Headgear, USA Card & USA Coaches Card required. $17 paid on line only. Folk style Tournament, Boys and girls ages 6 to 18 (Bantam to High School). Madison weights.

Friday, 4-01-11: Weigh in for K-8th Marshwoods High School 260 Route 236 South Berwick, ME 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, there will be no weigh ins at the tournament.

Saturday, 04-02-11: Marshwoods – Pre-registration was required, we have 20 kids attending. Location: The Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, ME. 8 man brackets, where possible. K-4th graders start at 8:30 AM. The 5th through 8th graders start at 11:00 AM

Summer Camps & Other Off-season Wrestling Happenings:

July 23 &24th 8AM-8PM Lake Massapoag Wrestling Camp in Dunstable, MA: Camp will consist of six 2-hour instructional sessions and end with a takedown tournament. Along with the great wrestling we will stress team building, friendships and FUN!! Swimming, fishing, boating, rock climbing are only some of the FUN activities. Barbecue Lunch and Dinner will be served. All campers will receive a camp tee shirt, trophy and friendships to last a lifetime. Friday July 8th Baystate games wrestling @ UMASS Boston:

For grades 5 & 6 or Grades 7 & 8 Competition hosted in an air-conditioned facility• All participants receive Summer Games T-shirt• Medals are awarded to the top three in each age division and weight class and top clubs in participation and overall score• Award jackets are presented to a percentage of top finishers in each weight class• The competition is a FOLKSTYLE tournament. $30 entry fee, online registration ends June 29.
